Rabu, 18 Juni 2014, dari jam 15.00 WIB-selesai

di KUNCI Cultural Studies Center, Jl. Ngadinegaran MJ3/100, Yogyakarta

Pembahas:
Syafiatudina (kurator Made in Commons-Indonesia, KUNCI)
Dr. Marnie Badham (seniman-peneliti, University of Melbourne)
Alia Gabres (penyair & penutur cerita, Associate Producer, FCAC)

Free and open for Public

KUNCI Cultural Studies Center and FCACHeartsJogja invite you to an open discussion on commons as categories in the making. In the current event, we would like to see what roles utopian alternatives such as sharing resources, collaboration and copy culture play in the formations of cultural exchange and “friendship“ between people and places, particularly in the current relation between Indonesia and Australia.

Discussants:
Syafiatudina (curator for Made in Commons-Indonesia, KUNCI)
Dr. Marnie Badham (artist-researcher, University of Melbourne)
Alia Gabres (poet & storyteller, Associate Producer, FCAC).

Following on from the critical discussion, will be the Online Zine submissions launch. Exploring the themes set through a process of creative development, the online zine will feature contributions from participating artists, as well as encourage submissions from both Indonesia and Australia.

This event is jointly organised by KUNCI and Footscray Community Arts Center Australia as a part of FCACheartsJogja tour: A contemporary art exchange between people and place. FCACheartsJogja is part of the Australian Embassy –Jakarta’s Arts and Cultural Program 2014.
